Four Designs - Mapping the Designs

 The flow of dark objects, starting with a silhouette of a cityscape through large oblong shapes, leads the eye to the upper lefthand side. A background "gradient" of dark to light similarly leads the eye upwards. The wavy lines emanating from the bottom again draw the eye up the page.

The brightness of the circle and the wavy lines emanating from it point the eye towards it. The positioning of the rocket and the clustering of orbs/planets also contribute the the emphasis of the left-of-center circle.
